IncuCyte ZOOM: A real-time cell imaging system

A cell imaging system, IncuCyte ZOOM is an equipment that can capture and analyze continuous images of a live cell in the cell culture in real time with an automatic microscope. With these high-performance cell analysis systems as a basis, first efficacy test of candidates is conducted. Development of essential drugs such and anti-cancer drugs or immunotherapy starts here.

Cell Sorter : A cell separating system

Cell Sorter is an equipment that separates desired cells by analyzing cells at a single individual cell level. A cell marked with a florescent material is inserted into a small water droplet one by one, and the desired water droplet is separated with electrical stimulation. Unlike existing equipment, the calibration setting required for operation is completely automated, so that all researchers gain a desired outcome by using the equipment easily.

Cedex Bio analyzer : A metabolite analysis system

By analyzing metabolites of a cell medium, the effectiveness of new drugs can be confirmed and the productivity can be maximized. A maximum of 13 evaluation items can be analyzed quickly and accurately by using the automated equipment.

A cell medicine extracting a human cell and making into a therapeutic is a next generation cutting-edge pharmaceutical that can go beyond limited effects of previous synthetic biopharmaceuticals and their side effects. Treating a patient requires 10 billion to 10 trillion cells depending on disease. In order to develop a medicine, therefore, it is necessary to have a‘technology that enables mass securing of cells with an excellent treatment effect’.

It is automatic seeding equipment to mass culture selected cells. It is possible to control errors occurring in experiments and drastically reduce time and labor by using an all process automation system only owned by Medytox.

The animal testing laboratory of Medytox R&D Center(Gwanggyo), located on 4th floor basement, is a zone that can accommodate 4000 mice and 600 rats. It is separated into the contaminate zone which early-stage experiment can be conducted in and the clean zone which the approval stage experiment can be conducted in. Each zone is separated as a normal animal cage, clean animal cage for special purposes, and a bacteria animal laboratory for microorganisms to be tested along with the animal.

We conduct more accurate, error-less experiments using internationally certified equipment, GMP compliant sterile rooms and the equipment such as Cage Washer. With high-quality equipment, experimental animals are managed strictly not only to ensure research outcome, but also to take care of researchers’ health by preventing infections.
